The Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation is an independent, nonprofit, nonpolitical charitable organization, founded in Kyiv in 2001. The Foundation’s mission is to do good and encourage others to do so as well.

The Foundation works in three major areas: Ukraine Yesterday, Ukraine Today, and Ukraine Tomorrow.

UKRAINE YESTERDAY Area

combines programs aimed at the development of museum business, monuments preservation, supports historical, archeological, and cultural studies research and artistic event, promoting true knowledge about Ukraine’s past, and introducing international standards into the area of culture.

UKRAINE TODAY Area

implements programs and projects aimed at solving issues related to motherhood and children’s support, improving patient care and rehabilitation institutions network, taking care of children with special needs. The key priority of the Foundation in this area is building a state-of-the-art Children’s Hospital for critically ill children of Ukraine.

UKRAINE TOMORROW Area

deals with programs and projects aimed at launching a dialog in the society on education, medicine of the future, supporting talented youth.

PLC “Obolon» one of the best Ukrainian beer producers is the real patron of art and benefactor. Many human hearts, parents whose children recovered, leaders of sports clubs and creative projects are very grateful to the President of PLC “Obolon” A. Slobodyan, Director General A. Puchok, Head of the shareholders` Board S. Bloshchanyevych for their support and compassion. PLC “Obolon”has provided financial support of 4 children’s homes of family type and football teams of Ukraine. The Company has helped to restore and build numerous churches and architectural monuments, supported many cultural charitable events, namely the construction of children’s hospital “Hospital of the future”(project of the charitable fund “Ukraine-3000”), purchase of the Italian organ for the children’s school of Arts N 5. They also take an active part in providing financial support of movie and book production.

PLC “Obolon” supported the International Festival “Through centuries and lands – Liturgical music of the world” in 2004, 2005 and 2008. We hope for the future cooperation.

Italian Institute of Culture in Kiev is the official state organization of Italy in Ukraine. The main task of it is to expand the Italian language and culture in Ukraine.

The Institute takes an active part in such events as International festival of modern music “Two days and nights” in Odessa; Khrarkov International festival of puppet theatres; International theatre festival “Kiev in May”; European movie festival in Kiev, Lviv, Odessa and Kharkov; Kiev International festival of guitar music and Europe’s Day celebrations in Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Donetsk, Kharkov and other Ukrainian cities and towns.

In the year 2008 Italian Institute of Culture provided financial support for the 4th International festival “Through centuries and lands – liturgical music of the world”.
